
Kwara Agenda for Asiwaju (KWAGA), a foremost support group for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential bid has stressed the need for all members of the All Progressive Congress (APC), especially aspirants, to work together for the victory of the party in the forthcoming general elections.
The State Coordinator of the group, Hon. Yinka Yusuf Erubu stated this recently when he led other members of the group on a solidarity visit to Senator Oyelola Ashiru representing Kwara south senatorial district.
According to him, the forthcoming general elections will be a successful outing for the party if all hands are on deck.

In his words, “We believe that the forthcoming general elections can be won by our party across board if we all come together and work as one for the victory of the party.
“The first election will be that of our president and other national officers, we believe that when we work together for the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu it will trickle down to other offices in the state. We are therefore here today to assure you of our unalloyed support for your second term bid.”
He further stated the group’s projects are campaign billboards, banners and posters with portrait and message to elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq as Governor and Senator Ashiru as Kwara South senator across major roads in Kwara South Senatorial district.
He equally requested that the group be integrated into the state and his senatorial campaign committees.
Also speaking, the group Kwara South Coordinator of the group, Hon. Olanrewaju Aperun, who spoke on behalf of the other seven Local Government Coordinators stressed the need for the Senator to work more and deliver more dividends of democracy to his constituents.
In his contribution, the State Publicity Secretary of the group, Mr. Lukman Afolabi, stressed the need for unity in the ruling party so as to make the coming election easier for the party.
In his response, Senator Oyelola Ashiru said he has impacted positively on his constituents as his constituency projects are spread across the seven Local Government areas and promised more projects in the pipeline as the nation’s budget is still being implemented.
He affirmed that the APC as a party still holds the ace in Kwara State especially in Kwara South. And urged the group to work more on the polling booths and the grassroots.
