Kogi state PDP Youths Vanguard has described monarchs who visited President Muhammadu Buhari to seek support for Governor Yahaya Bello’s second term bid as ‘suffering and smiling’ traditional rulers.
This was contained in a statement signed by Muktar Samuel, State Publicity Secretary of the Vanguard and made available to News Hub Magazine in Lokoja.

The group berated the monarchs, who they alleged are being owed about ten month salary arrears, for the visit.
Muktar urged Buhari to disregard the monarchs’ ‘sycophantic visit’ and that they were not in Aso Rock to speak the minds of Kogi state suffering masses but that of the desperate governor who wants to hold onto power at all cost.
The PDP Vanguard urged the people of the state to place the traditional rulers in their right perspective, as suffering and smiling chiefs, who only went to butter their bread.
The group posited that the people of the state is suffering in an unimaginable manner under the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration and wondered why so much cash was paid to the traditional rulers that visited the President.
The PDP Youths Vanguard described the level of desperation by Gov. Yahaya Bello as unfortunate and assured that all actions against the people will be vehemently resisted at the forthcoming election.
