The Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom and Chairman Ijumu Local Government Area Traditional Council, HRM Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni has congratulated Muslims in Kogi State on the celebration of the Eid el Fitr, which marks the end of the Ramadan fast.
Oba Ayeni in a congratulatory message made available to Newsmen in Lokoja felicitated with Muslims for the successful completion of the Ramadan, calling for more prayers for God’s intervention for an end to the COVID-19 pandemic and security challenges bedeviling the Country.

The Ijumu Paramout Ruler also congratulated the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, members of the State Executive Council and Muslims in Ijumu Local Government Area on the event.
He enjoined them to imbibe lessons of the Holy Month of Ramadan in their daily life, pointing out that by so doing, the society will be a better place.

The Monarch further called for sustained prayers for the peace, development and growth of the local government, Kogi State and Nigeria in general.
He wished Muslims a successful celebration and prosperous years ahead.
