Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) in the 2023 Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu House of Representatives election and Chairman McKesson Properties, Otunba Olaiya Michael Olobatoke has urged the Muslims in his Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu constituency to Imbibe in the virtues of tolerance during the season of sallah celebration.
Olobatoke in a message signed by himself and made available to NewshubMag stated that the importance of the season was to appreciate the gift of life while committing one’s life to the course of Allah.
“We thank the almighty Allah for sparing our lives to see yet another Sallah celebration despite the high insecurity level in the Nation”
“As a constituency, Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency will not rest on its oars until we achieve a level of perfection where we will become an example to other constituency”
“I want to congratulate all our Muslim brothers and sister for seeing another beautiful Sallah, I wish them many more celebrations in good health, a convivial environment, and progress”
“Let me, also admonish us all to keep our faith and hope alive while we prepare to vote in PDP candidates at all levels for better governance come the next general elections”
