The ranks of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi state especially Kogi West will soon be decimated as a topnotch chieftain, Hon. Taiwo Ojo Nathaniel is set to dump the party for the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
News Hub Mag! gathered that the erstwhile member of the Kogi State House of Assembly and a former Kabba-Bunu LGA boss will announce his defection anytime soon.
However, another source disclosed that the building contractor has eyes for his building construction business and is dumping the PDP to focus on his company.
Prior to his deep political affinity with the PDP, Hon. Nata as he is popularly known was known to be a road and building contractor and had excelled enviably, matching with no visible rival.
News Hub Mag! gathered that his pedigree as a former chairman and law maker is believed to be unequalled in some quarters given his pass mark in areas of women youths and women empowerment, infrastructural development, health, rural electrification, agriculture, security,and water supply.
It is to his credit that the Kabba Water project worth about 480million to be completed by bond money was facilitated to the ancient town.
With his latest move of aligning with the APC it can be authoritatively stated that Hon. Nata’s strong political moves will have no visible impediment given the presence of big guns like the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole who is believed to be one of his political sons.
Another strong political son of NATA and current Sole Administrator of Kabba-Bunu, Hon. Moses Olorunleke and other distinguished figures like Hon. Toba, commander Jerry Omodara, Aare Adebayo Ariyo and others are believed to be his allies.
