Inspects Ibana-Okpo-Ikeje-Emonyoku-Odidoko-Ogugu-Ette road

Towards the November 16 governorship election, Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi state has flagged off the Adumu-Ogugu erosion control in Ogugu.
This was contained in a statement signed by the press secretary and made available to newsmen in lokoja on Sunday.

The statement quoted the contractor as saying the erosion control project is expected to be completed in 12 months.

According to the statement the Governor also inspected the 95% completed Ibana-Okpo-Ikeje-Emonyoku-Odidoko-Agugu-Ette Road in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State, stressing that work on the road project which cut across 7 communities in the area is now at the last community.
While inspecting the road, Governor Bello expressed joy over the quality of job done so far and noted that the project will be completed within the contractual agreement period.
Speaking on behalf of the community, the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Edward Onoja thanked the governor for his developmental strides in Kogi State in general and Kogi East in particular noting, the people of the areas will observe the principle of reciprocity in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
