The Honourable Minister of State for Transport, Senator Gbemisola Rukayat Saraki has felicitated with the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu Gambari on the 24th anniversary of his ascension to the throne.
In a congratulatory message by the Honourable Minister a copy of which was made available to News Hub Mag! she described the Emir as a peace loving father who propagates and personifies peaceful coexistence in all his deeds, both in the Emirate and Kwara state in general.
She said: “I join all sons and daughters of the Emirate and Kwarans as a whole to congratulate you on your 24th anniversary, as I salute your courage and outstanding initiatives that have brought unity, peace and tolerance in your domain”.
Senator Saraki noted that, since the ascension to the throne, Dr Ibrahim Zulu Gambari has led his domain successfully as he contributes to the political and socioeconomic development of the emirate.
She also urged the Emir to continue to use his fatherly position and an insatiable appetite for peace to continue to pray for the state and the country at large, and to continue to give suggestions that will be of help to the government of the day.
While appreciating the Almighty Allah for making his reign a success, the Minister also prayed Allah to grant the Royal Father the wisdom, sound health and long reign on the throne.
