In line of duty, Hon. Rasaq Olatunde Owolabi, made an unannounced visit to the General Hospital, Share, headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State in the early hours of Tuesday.
The lawmaker met with the Chief Medical Director (CMD), Doctor Yakub Folorunsho, in his office who led the lawmaker round the facility.

To the amazement of many people, Owolabi, during the inspection, jettisoned protocol, ignored status and went down to clear growing weeds in the hospital surroundings.

While speaking with the staff of the hospital, Owolabi warned against allowing the facility to be overtaken by unwanted plants, urging them to perform their civic duties efficiently and effectively in their various designations in order to justify what they earn monthly.
He said since the government of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq came on board in Kwara State, there has been remarkable improvement in the health sector which according to him, has impacted greatly on the Share General hospital.
He added that the bar raised in the sector by the governor should be upheld by everyone in the hospital saying no staff should do a thing that could impede patronage.

News Hub Mag! reports that, in his response to the visit, the CMD appreciated the lawmaker saying he has demonstrated good example for them all to follow, promising unalloyed service.
“The Chairman, House Committee on Health took us by surprise, we didn’t have a clue about his coming. But we are grateful he came, he told us what to improve on and we are going to do just that.
