The lawmaker representing Share/Oke-Ode constituency, Honourable Rasaq Olatunde Owolabi, has congratulated the executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman, on his one year in office.
Owolabi, in a congratulatory message made available to News Hub Mag! through his media aide, Kayode Adeoti, lauded the governor for bringing transformation into the state.
He said his one year in office has brought hope and joy for the masses in the state adding that long abandoned projects were put in shape for use.

He applauded the governor for revamping the state health sector which he said was neglected to suffer by the past administrations for years.
He added that his achievement on this sector is mind-blowing and worthy of commendation.
Owolabi noted that the Health Insurance Scheme Governor Abdulrahman’s government launched has in no small way, created employment opportunities and also reduced death rate among the indigents in the state.
According to him, 10,000 indigents who are captured in the scheme, across the sixteen local Government Area of the state can now access medical care for free.
The lawmaker also appreciated the First Lady, Dr. Mrs Olufolake AbdulRahman for being supportive to the state developmental programmes.
Owolabi, also lauded speaker, Honourable Yakubu Danladi, for pivoting the affairs of the 9th Assembly in a way that ensure harmony between both the executive and the legislature.
“I want to boldly say, the government of Governor Abdulrahman has impacted lives positively more than his predecessors considering the many wholesome programmes initiated to improve the well-being of the citizens.
“As I speak, renovations of 112 hospitals across all council areas in the state is still ongoing, some have been completed while some suffered setback due to the lockdown occassioned by the novel coronavirus pandemic.
“I must salute the wisdom behind how Governor Abdulrahman is managing the coronavirus in the state, he was able to put all the resources in place base on the resources available.

“The achievements within this one year speaks volumes of Governor AbdulRahaman’s performance, within this short in office, all sectors have been touched.
“Governor Abdulrahman is a God sent, let us join hands with him to continue moving Kwara forward, greater feat this government will attain if we can all give our support,” he assured.
