Wife of Alh. Muideen Obanimomo who died at the University of Ilorin General Hospital has tested positive to COVID-19.
News Hub Mag! gathered that this was confirmed by multiple sources from UITH, government and the test centre in Lagos where the samples were taken to for PCR test.
Multiple ources were said to have reliably told news men that, “The result of the wife of the deceased have turned out positive, we sent the result to Ilorin around 10:30am this morning.”
Speaking in the same vein, a highly placed government source confirmed that, “I can tell you the wife of the deceased have tested positive, we’re only awaiting the confirmation of the other results before official announcement is made” he emphasized.
On the delay with announcement, he said it is the duty of the NCDC to officially announce after due communications with all relevant authorities, so we should have the official announcement before the day runs out.
