As preparation hots up for the conferment of first Maiyegun of Yoruba Land on King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal also known as K-1 by the Alaafin of Oyo, HRM Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Fuji mastro is said to be in the ancient town to tighten loose ends.
News Hub Mag! reports that preparations are already at feverish point in view of the consummation and glorious conferment of the prestigious chieftaincy title of Maiyegun of Yorubaland on King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal by the Iku Baba yeye, the Alaafin of Oyo in few days to come.
The organizing committee of the event, led by K-1 himself, in collaboration with selected top palace chiefs of the Alaafin are right now in the ancient town of Oyo to put finishing touches and final preparatory stages to the milestone event.

The landmark event is expected to further signpost and announce the Fuji Czar as the first ever Maiyegun of Yorubaland, courtesy of the Iku Baba Yeye, the Alaafin of Oyo.
Sources said given K-1’s antecedents, events like this, in his honour, will not be allowed to go without an elaborate ceremony.
