A nine-man investigative panel has been set up to look into allegations of misconduct leveled against the suspended Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ifelodun Local Government Area, Mohammed Shillo Awobimpe and his vice, Mallam Baba Malik.
The panel is headed Mr Olorunshogo Oluwabiyi of Ora ward while Comrade Bale Babalola Idowu of Oke-Ode Ward ll is to serve as the Secretary.
The Acting Chairman of the Party, Mr Olurotimi Ajisafe while inaugurating the panel charged them to be fair and just in their investigation.
Mr Ajisafe read out the 6 points terms of reference including to make thorough and in-depth investigation of the campaign fund accrued to the party during the elections, to give all members under investigation a fair hearing and to summon any member the panel deem fit to assist their task.
The panel is expected to submit its report within 7 days.
In his response, the Chairman of the panel, pledged to discharge the responsibilities saddled on the committee without fear or favour.
News Hub Mag! recalls that Alhaji Mohammed Shillo Awobimpe and Mallam Baba Malik were suspended over allegations of financial mismanagement and anti-party activities leveled against them in a petition signed by four members of the party.
