The Kwara State House of Assembly is set to resume plenary on Wednesday, 27th May, 2020 after about 3 months of lockdown occasioned by the novel Coronavirus pandemic.
This was contained in a release by the Clerk to the House, Hajia Halimat Jummai Kperogi.

“This is to inform the general public that the Kwara State House of Assembly will resume plenary on Wednesday, 27th May, 2020 at ten o’clock in the morning.

“Recall that the Honourable House would have reconvened after the oversight to the Sixteen Local Government Areas but could not due to the outbreak of corona virus pandemic.

“All Honourable Members and the general public are to take note of the reconvening of the House on Wednesday 27th May, 2020″ she stated.
News Hub Mag! reports that during the lockdown, the lawmakers have been moving round the nooks and crannies of their various constituencies, providing palliatives and sensitizing the people on the need to obey the sit at home order and also observe proper hygiene.
