Kwara Utd count on stakeholders’ support against Wikki

Kwara United Football Club has again reiterated it’s resolve to continue to count on the support of it’s supporters, fans and other stakeholders, in the bid to get the team back to winning.

The club will square up against Wikki Tourists of Bauchi in a Week 23 NPFL encounter, at the Main-Bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin tomorrow, Sunday, and according to the management, they can only get it right with the support of every stakeholder.

News Hub Mag! recalls that Kwara United Football Club is currently occupying the 19th position on the NPFL table, with the believed that the situation is redeemable, with the right support, believe and sacrifice.

In a statement by the Media Team, a copy of which was made available to News Hub Mag! urged Kwarans to troop out en masse, to cheer their team to victory against the Bauchi-based Tourists, as the gates will be thrown open.

‘We want total and unalloyed support tomorrow in the encounter with Wikki Tourists, and that’s why we have decided to make the match free. All the gates will be thrown open, except for the gate to the VIP section, which will be reserved’, the statement said.

‘We have set all machineries in motion for a hitch-free match, especially in consideration of the directives of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), in respect of security and medicals.

NFF directed the League Management Company (LMC) to ensure all the teams in the NPFL comply with medical requirements and measures stipulated in the rule book, especially in the aftermath of the demise of Nasarawa United’s Chineme Martin’s,

Four medical bays have therefore, been provided in the Main-Bowl, during all home matches including a first aid box.

The team also urged every stakeholder to play their roles very well, before, during and after the match.
