…distributes relief materials to constituents

The Deputy Whip of the Kwara State House of Assembly and member representing Ilorin East Constituency, Hon Jimoh Ali Yusuf says Kwarans, especially the people of Ilorin East Local Government, are hardworking people and not used to sitting at home.
Speaking with News Hub Mag! at the sidelines of distribution of various items to his constituents to serve as a relief in this period of lockdown due to the novel COVID-19 pandemic, the lawmaker noted that his people are worst hit by this sit at home order.
“I can assure you that the people of Ilorin East Local Government are hardworking set of people and are more affected by the lockdown because staying at home without going to work is never their habit. This is our reason of distributing these relief materials,” he said.
The lawmaker however urged them to continue abiding by government directives as the decision is for the good of everyone in the society.
While praying that the deadly disease will not come into the state he wished those infected in other states in the federation quick recovery.
News Hub Mag! reports that the distribution which went round the 12 wards of the constituency and targeted the old and vulnerable. Items distributed include bags of Semovita, bottles of hand sanitizers, hand wash liquid soap and many more.
