The Kwara State Government has assured that it would ensure a smooth and hitch-free Hajj operation in the state.
The Secretary to the State Government, Dr Maman Saba Jibirl gave the assurance during a courtesy visit to the Hajj Camp, Ilorin and Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Ilorin.

While addressing the year 2019 intending pilgrims during the inoculation exercise, Dr. Jibril expressed his delight at the good conduct of the pilgrims and charged them to be law abiding in Saudi Arabia.
He said the state government had put necessary arrangement in place to ensure hitch-free hajj operation.
Speaking at the office of the Executive Secretary, Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Mohammed Tunde-Jimoh, the SSG appreciated the warm welcome accorded him and his entourage and directed the Board to follow due process in tackling the challenges facing the organization.
He also commended the Executive Secretary for his adroitness in administrating the Board and for the renovation of the Board offices.
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Mohammed Tunde Jimoh thanked the SSG for the visit which he said was timely.
Tunde-Jimoh, according a statement issued by the Press Secretary to the Board, Hajia Jumoke Jimoh, commended the efforts of the state government in ensuring successful Hajj operations in the state.
Also speaking, the Team Leader of the 2019 Medical Screening Committee, Dr Abubakar Ayinla, appealed to the state government to renovate the camp so as to provide a conducive environment for the pilgrims before departure to Saudi Arabia.
Among the SSG’s entourage were the Permanent Secretary, General Services, Mr. Odetokun Adegboyega; Director, Economic Affairs (ECA), Mr. Gesinde Adedeji Amosa; Director, Finance and Supply, Governor’s Office, Alhaji AbdulRaheem Rufai; Assistant Director, ECA, Mr. Muyiwa Taiwo and Principal Administration Officer, ECA, Mr. Isiaka AbdulRaheem.
