The Kwara State Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi has charged youths in the country to strive to take their rightful place in directing and leading the country to greatness.
Mr Alabi gave the charge in Ilorin while receiving Executive and members of the National Association of Kwara State Students and Igbomina Students Union in his office.

The deputy Governor who took time to lecture the students urged them to use their numerical strength wisely in directing the affairs of the state and the nation as a whole.
He challenged youths to be prepared to take leadership role just as he noted that the future of the Nation rests on them.
Mr. Alabi admonished them to take active part in politics by using modern information technology to achieve their aims and ambitions.

“Strive all the time to take your rightful place, make use of ICT to achieve your ambitions as over 90million Nigerians are active users of android phone and are on social media” he said.
The Deputy Governor also advised youths to vote wisely in subsequent elections for them to have adequate representation in the three tiers of government.
He charged them to shun thuggery, drug abuse and not allow politicians to manipulate them in achieving their selfish interest.
Mr Alabi who gave statistics of people taking drugs said “over 35million are into drugs worldwide and out of this figure 15million are from Nigeria which is high as majority of them are youths”.
Earlier the outgoing President of the National Association of Kwara State Students, Comrade Musa Mohammed and the President-Elect, Adisa Jaji appreciated Government for its efforts in making life meaningful for students and called for collaboration and mentorship as they represent the interest of over 1.6million students.
