MC Oluomo appointed Lagos NURTW caretaker chairman

According to information made available to News Hub Mag! the National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa has appointed Mr. Musillu Akinsanya a.k.a. MC Oluomo, as the Caretaker Chairman, Lagos State chapter of the union.

A source that monitored the development said that Alhaji Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa issued a statement on Tuesday dissolving the executive committee of the state chapter hitherto headed by Comrade Tajudeen Agbede who is now Baruwa’s deputy, and replaced it with an 18- member caretaker committee led by MC Oluomo.

News Hub Mag! recalls that MC Oluomo, who is the chairman of Oshodi Branch, Lagos chapter of the union, is one of those contesting for the Lagos State NURTW chairmanship.

He is also vying for the chairmanship position of the chapter.

The caretaker committee will oversee the Lagos Chapter for three months when fresh election of new executive will be conducted.
