Thirteen miners operating illegally in Osun State have been arrested by Amotekun security outfit.
In a two hours operation, Amotekun corps in conjuction with Osun State Joint Task Force (JTF) arrested nine Chinese, one Ghanaian and three locals on Monday.
News Hub Mag! gathered that the arrests were reportedly made across four different illegal mining locations that include Itagunmodi, Igun and Ariye 1&2, all in Atakunmosa West local government area of the state.

Confirming the development in Oshogbo, Osun State capital, Director-General of Amotekun Security Corps in Osun, Comrade Amitolu Shittu stressed that his outfit would double its efforts in its quest to rid the state of illegal miners.
He commended the JTF comprising Nigerian Army, Air force, Navy, Police, DSS, NSCDC and Immigration for their cooperation with Amotekun corps to make the operation a success.
