The Leader, Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Magaji Abubakar Olawoyin has facilitated a 500kva transformer to Temidire Community in Warrah-Osin -Egbejila ward of Ilorin Central Constituency that has been in darkness for over two years.
The transformer was facilitated by the Lawmaker with the help of the Governor of the State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The transformer was delivered to the community by the Commissioner for Energy, Alhaji Lafia Aliyu Sabi and Hon. Magaji Abubakar Olawoyin.
Speaking at the installation, Hon Olawoyin said the delivery of the 500kva transformer was a testimony that the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration remained committed to the wellbeing of the people of his constituency and the state at large.
He urged the community to continue to support the present administration.
News Hub Mag! recalls that some months ago the Community Development Association of Temidire Community solicited the state government’s intervention, through Hon Olawoyin, to end the prolonged lackout in their community.
The Lawmaker had promised them that their transformer would be installed before the commencement of year 2020 Ramadan.
News Hub Mag! reports that the Community Development Association on Electricity, Yusuff Onimago, appreciated Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and Hon. Magaji Abubakar Olawoyin for the delivery of the transformer.
