OMO Campaign Team Disassociate Self from Nayo’s Write Up On PDP Losing Kogi West Senate Seat

The campaign team of Otunba Olaiya Michael Olobatoke, candidate of the People’s Democratic Party for Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu House of representatives election has distanced itself from the article written by one of its supporters, Nayo Babatunde stating reasons why PDP may lose the Senatorial Seat in the coming election.

The team noted that the author of the write-up who’s a proponent of OMO project is an adult who has his opinion on issues of politics and should, therefore, be held responsible for whatever the consequences of his opinion might be.

The team however advised the public and members of the party to discontinue linking the write-up to her principal, stating that the opinion of one of her members cannot reflect the position of her principal.

                     Disclaimer Notice

It has come to our notice an article making the rounds written by Mr. Nayo Babatunde, titled ” Why PDP May Lose Kogi West Senatorial Seat Again”.

We may not have any business writing to disclaim both the piece and the writer until rumor millers started adducing the write-up to have emanated from our Principal, Chief Olaiya Michael Olobatoke, simply because the said writer is a proponent of OMO Campaign and what the brand stands for.

We would like to put the record straight by pointing out:

  1. That Mr. Nayo Babatunde is an adult who has a mind of his own and whose actions do not entirely represent that of the PDP HOR candidate at all times; such an example is this ill-timed article that is causing more harm than good.
  2. That the primary election is gone, the primary is won and lost and OMO sees every candidate that emerged from the PDP primary as one and indivisible.
  3. That PDP is one formidable family who is ready to rescue power from the cankerworms making life difficult for Kogites and Nigerians.
  4. That Mr. Nayo Jude does not and can not represent the will and opinion of our principal or the campaign organization. He(Nayo Babatunde), may have his own opinion which is not necessarily right but to which he is entitled and should be treated as an individual who should face the brunt of his self-acclaimed opinion.
  5. That Hon. Teejay Yusuf and Chief Olaiya Michael Olobatoke are both great party men who are working together to deliver victory for PDP hundred percent both at the local, state, and federal levels. Both men are united, in good communication, in high spirits, and too busy to be distracted by a factless write-up such as the one Mr. Nayo Babatunde has just penned down.
  6. That those who are busy escalating the piece and causing unnecessary tension should desist for their good because no such evil intentions can dislodge or divide the PDP and her candidates.
  7. That Mr. Nayo Babatunde has been warned to desist from writing proses that are capable of putting OMO in bad light or misrepresenting him and the entire campaign team.
  8. That articles or write-ups not personally signed by OMO or OMO Media Team can not represent OMO in any form, they can best be an opinion of the writer and such writer should be made to face the consequences, either good or bad.

Members of our constituency and the public are hereby admonished to disregard the article and its nauseating content and are advised to keep supporting the PDP and its candidates. These are the people who know where the shoe pinches and are ready to right the wrong caused by this clueless party in power.

Signed:

OMO Media Team.
