Ondo 2020: Forum withdraws case against APC state exco

The factional group of All Progressives Congress (APC) known as Unity Forum has withdrawn the Court case challenging the composition of Ondo State Executive Committee of the party.

A Former chairman of Akure South Local Government, Hon. Idowu Otetunbi and some members of the unity forum disclosed this at a press briefing in Akure during the weekend.

They also pulled out from the group and aligned with the mainstream APC structure in the state ahead the forthcoming governorship election.

The press conference tagged “I am done with unity Forum Ondo state ” was attended by influential members of the forum.

Hon Otetunbi said they resolved to pull out of Unity forum without any further negotiation.

The former Council Boss stated that his decisions are purely informed by his unquenchable desire for progress of the state and the APC, particularly, the Ondo state chapter.

He added that he has withdrawn unconditionally his case in court, with suit No. FHC/AK/CS/10/2019 challenging the composition of the state Executive Committee of the party.

Welcoming the group, the Ondo state chairman of All progressive Congress, Engineer Ade Adetimeyin said this move is a proof that the party is really progressing stressing that APC is firmly united in Ondo state.

News Hub Mag! reports that Ondo State Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Hon. Donald Ojogo and other party State executives were present at the briefing.
