The Osun state Government has confirmed two cases of Lassa fever in the state.
The State Commissioner for Health, Dr Rafiu Isamotu made the confirmation on Monday at a press conference, held at the Ministry of Health .
Dr Isamotu said two patients have been affected by the deadly disease.
According to the commissioner, those affected are being treated at the Obafemi Awolowo Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife
He assured that the issue is being addressed by government officials.
