The son and wife of a coronavirus patient who died recently in Ife, Osun state have tested positive.
In a news confirmed by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Gboyega Oyetola, Mr. Ismail Omipidan, on Sunday disclosed that two new cases have been confirmed positive by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC on Saturday night.
According to him, the new cases are related to the man that died of the deadly virus sometimes last week in Ife.

“Last night, we received results of 53 samples we sent to the NCDC accredited Testing Centre for evaluation, out of which 2 tested positive and 51 returned negative.
“The two positive cases are wife and son of a previously confirmed case in Ife, who died last week. They are currently receiving treatment at our Isolation Centre,” he said.
He further stated that the two cases makes the confirmed cases of COVID- 19 in the state to 36, with just 10 active cases.
