Barely two weeks after a certain Inspector Monday Gabriel went berserk and started shooting at his colleagues, which led to the death of Sergeant Felix, the death of a Police Inspector that was gruesomely macheted by a Sergeant has been confirmed.
The deceased, identified as Inspector Adekunle Ilesanmi Francis, is said to be a Police operative attached to the Special Protective Unit (SPU) Lagos State Police command Ikeja, and he was macheted by a yet-to-be-disclosed Sergeant.
It was gathered that Francis died on Monday, morning in a Lagos based hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, the duo are reportedly occupants of the same building.
News Hub Mag! notes that this is another unfortunate incident that adds to the worrying number of criminal acts that is perpetuated by Police operatives.
