Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved today, January 25, as work-free day for civil servants in the state.
Head of Service (HoS), Mrs. Suzan Oluwole, in a statement issued in Ilorin, yesterday, noted that the development was to give ample time to the workers to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to enable them participate actively in the coming general election.
The statement added, “All those that are yet to get their voters card are admonished to immediately do so before the expiration of the collection date.”
