All arrangements have been concluded by the Kwara Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) to host the North Central caucus meeting of the body on Friday in Ilorin.
A statement by the National Vice President of the Association in charge of the North central zone, Malam Danmusa Mohammed yesterday said the seven Chairmen from the zone and the zonal secretary will also witness the Elective Congress of Kwara SWAN before the meeting.
The statement said the Nigeria Pillar of Sports; Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike will declare the Congress open before the business of the day.
He urged members of the Association in the state to be seated by 4:00pm as guests are expected to arrive by 4:30pm while the Congress is scheduled to kick off by 5:00pm at the indoor conference hall of the Kwara stadium Ilorin.
The statement added that accommodations for all the visiting members of the SWAN North central zone are reserved at Bovina hotels, new Yidi road Ilorin.
